About the course
English for Nusantara Grade IX invites you to explore language through real contexts that connect Indonesia, global issues, and your own life. In Chapter I, you will study Indonesian fauna such as bekantan, orangutan, gorilla, and birds, while practicing descriptive and comparative texts. Chapter II focuses on trips and experiences, including visiting national parks and underwater adventures, strengthening your ability to use past tenses, recount texts, and sequencing events clearly.
In Chapter III, you will enter fantasy worlds through narratives, legends, and imaginative stories, sharpening your understanding of narrative structure, dialogue, and creative writing. Chapter IV introduces upcycling and entrepreneurship, where you learn to present ideas, create persuasive texts, and communicate value. Chapter V discusses digital life, fact checking, online safety, and identifying hoaxes, helping you build critical literacy skills in the digital era. Throughout the course, you develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills integrated with cultural awareness and global citizenship.
